The Department of Electrical Engineering is a unique amalgamation of electrical, electronics and computer related courses to enable the students to pursue a professional career or higher studies in any of these broad areas. The distinguished and well-qualified faculty with wide range of specializations ensures an exquisite student-teacher rapport.

Overview

The Department was established in 2019 with intake of 60 students and currently offers a B.E in Electrical Engineering. Department welcomes young aspirants around the globe to shape their career by developing strong technical, analytical skills so that the students besides going for software industry jobs, have the necessary technical foundation for competing for post graduate studies in leading Indian and International universities for diversified careers in research, management and entrepreneurship, etc. The Department classrooms and laboratories with modern infrastructure to facilitate their learning. The academic ambience encourages research, development and innovation activities. Leadership and teamwork are induced for imbibing the ethical and professional attitude to enrich society. The department takes immense interest in conducting professional activities such as organizing workshops, seminars and expert lectures to meet the challenges in the IT industry. Our results are constantly on the upward trajectory and the phenomenal growth of the department is attributed to the winning combination of dedicated and experienced faculty, brilliant students and strong administrative support from the institute

Objective & Outcome

Objective: The objective of the Electrical Engineering program at Indala College of Engineering is to provide students with a comprehensive education in electrical engineering principles and applications. Our curriculum is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the field of electrical engineering. We aim to develop graduates who can contribute to the sustainable development of the power industry, renewable energy, automation, and other related fields. Outcomes: Upon completion of their studies in the Electrical Engineering program, students at Indala College of Engineering will:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in electrical circuit analysis, power systems, control systems, and electrical machines.

  • Apply engineering principles to design and analyze electrical systems and components.

Electrical Faculties

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING LABORATORY

The Electrical Engineering laboratory is one of the important lab of the department as it helps the students of all engineering disciplines to perform the experiments based on basic concepts of electrical science. It is well-equipped with several experimental setups packages for real time experiments.In this lab, the students of all engineering streams are trained on basic concepts of electrical engineering., such as AC to DC conversion, measurement, transformer, verification of basic laws and theorems, use of CRO, DSO, etc. This lab has maximum utilization, handling approximately six hundred fifty students per semester.
